I have some good news for people who collect butterfly trinkets! There’s an artist I just discovered who makes some brilliantly colored butterfly jewelry that (to me, anyway) is absolutely irresistible! I love bold colors, but it can be hard finding butterfly earrings and so forth that aren’t in washed out pastels. I mean, that works if you’re looking for something to match a spring outfit, but for everyday wear, there’s nothing like a brilliant blue or vibrant green. My friends know that I am absolutely love gorgeous costume jewelry.

Finding really unique handmade jewelry can be like a treasure hunt. First you have to find a site that has a look you are attracted to in some way. Maybe the thing you love is artisan jewelry, maybe it’s some other type of one-of-a-kind jewelry. It’s very individual, of course. Then you have to prowl around the site for a bit. This can take all of two minutes, if it isn’t your thing, or over two hours if you are close to hitting the jackpot!
