I still remember, every year, on the first of January, our father used to buy us new clothes and designer sunglasses. We would eagerly wait for the New Year day from the month of December itself. Along with new clothes, he would make it a point bring a lot of savories too. We would all sit in a circle with our new clothes and then enjoy the savories together. We used to have so much fun and frolic.
On one such occasion during the New Year day, we noticed our father returning home empty handed. We were disappointed to no end. It was first time that he had failed to get us any gift at all. We did not question him but chose to remain mum. After seeing the bewildered expression on our faces, he asked my brother to get a packet from the car. When our brother came back from the car, we could see a big box in his hand. This year our father had decided to buy “sunglasses wholesale” for all of us at a very fat discount. Weren’t we all happy to have got lovely looking glasses?
