This butterfly necklace in jewel-toned green was a gift from my husband. He presented it to me for a holiday gift—he told me it was a little talisman to make spring come early this year. Well, maybe it didn’t work that way (we live in Washington D.C.) but it did make me happy! I love all butterfly jewelry, but the hand crafted quality of this enamel necklace really is lovely. This year my twin 18 year olds are graduating from high school. Hooray! Although I will admit that I am sure I will be very sad when they leave our home to go off to college in the fall. But for now, I am a very proud parent. Of course we will through them a party. And of course we will get them nice graduation presents that show them how proud we are of their achievements.

My philosophy is to get them something event oriented (like rent a limo that they can ride to all the graduation parties to) that will be fun, fun, fun. But also to get each of them something a bit more personal.
