The best gardening gifts are determined on what the receiver of the gift would like and where they are in their gardening experience. A good example of this is a gift I bought my mother for her seventy-fifth birthday last year. She is an avid gardener that has been growing much of her own food for many years as well as roses that will make you want to sit in her garden and just breathe in! She had announced that she would have to cut back on her gardening due to her inability to kneel down and bend over the way she used too so I bought her a wonderful kneeling bench. Because of this gift she was able to plant the way she always had this past year. (more…)

With the rise of China in manufacturing, you can see markets flooded with items containing the “Made in China” tags. This is particularly true when you visit the Dollar item stores or the 99 cent stores. The common household items are the ones that are hardest hit with this scenario. Even the day-to-day birthday gifts cost much cheaper due to this effect. (more…)

In addition to having a great camp stove, many great accessories can be purchased to make a campsite seem like home sweet home for the avid camper.  Camping cookware is a necessary piece for comfort while being outdoors.  Sturdy stands are available for camp stoves making the cooking surfaces that much better while allowing easy access to much needed spices, food items, etc.  The height of the stand makes cooking for a large party very comfortable and assembly is extremely easy.  Ideally, the whole set-up should remind one of their own kitchen as opposed to being outdoors!
